Lotus Elise (Revive)
One of our regular customers booked their latest toy in for our Revive treatment ahead of a road trip: a beautifully kept Lotus Elise. It’s probably the smallest (and most awkward) vehicle we’ve worked on to date. As a bigger guy, getting around the tight interior was a real challenge. Removing the roof wouldn’t have helped much either.
The exterior detailing, particularly the polishing, put my back through its paces, but the results made it worthwhile. One specific request was to remove the existing number plates in preparation for a new smaller personalised plate. The large rear plate had left behind a mess of sticky pads, and as you’ll see in the slider below, it wasn’t going without a fight.
I soaked the area with tar and glue remover, then carefully removed each pad using the right tools to avoid damaging the paintwork. It took time and care, but the panel was fully restored and polished, ready for its new plate.
Mini Cooper S Countryman Works (Revive)
This beautifully coloured Mini came to us as another vehicle destined for a quick sale. The owner was eager to get it booked in as soon as possible, and despite a busy schedule and the unpredictable February weather, we managed to secure a slot. At first glance, the paintwork appeared to be in good condition, but under closer inspection, light swirl marks became evident. While Minis are often seen as compact, this one certainly wasn’t small—but it was a pleasure to work on, restoring its vibrant colour to its original brilliance with our Revive package.
The real challenge, however, was the interior. As a family car, it had certainly seen its fair share of daily use. But just like with exterior revivals, we’re well-versed in bringing interiors back to life. Take a look at the images below to see the transformation for yourself!
Vauxhall Astra (Revive)
This vehicle arrived on a crisp, frosty February morning for a much-needed transformation. It was booked in using one of our gift vouchers—a fantastic present for those hard-to-buy-for friends and family, giving them the gift of a complete vehicle Revive.
The car itself had been severely neglected, to the point where the owner’s mother refused to even step inside! With the voucher in hand, we got to work, determined to bring it back to life. The paintwork was heavily marred and so faded that we weren’t sure if it could be saved. However, after careful testing with different pad and polish combinations, we found the perfect method to restore its original vibrancy.
